MURRAY COD PACKAGE
The Murray Cod fishing adventure will take you to the Queensland and NSW border rivers in search of one of Australia’s most iconic native species. The type of fishing will include walking the pristine gorges, kayaking up skinny water rivers, fishing rapids and under waterfalls and throwing surface lures over submerged timber and rocks. All of the fishing will be strictly lure fishing and catch and release. Leave the city life at home for this trip as we will be sleeping under the stars and camping on the waters edge. Food will include BBQ cooked meals along with camp oven dinners washed down with cold beer next to the fire. This trip will allow you to escape your everyday hectic lifestyle and relax with a few mates in a style of fishing that might be a bit different for most anglers.
How Long Is It For ?
The trips can be a long as you want however this package is designed for a 2 or 3 night getaway.
How Many People Can Go ?
2 guests is perfect but we can take up to 4 should you have a larger group. Groups over 4 are welcome but we will need to organise an additional guide.
When Does It Operate ?
The Murray cod season is closed from September 1st and re opens December 1st. Anytime around that is available and provides good fishing opportunity. Just be aware that we are dealing with very hot summers and really cold winters out this way so I find April/May to the ultimate time for temperature.
What is the Cost ?
The trips will start form $990pp for 3 nights. A full quote will be provided upon enquiry. We provide you with all the fishing and camping gear required plus organise all the meals.
