BURDEKIN PACKAGE
Located just 1 and a half hours from Townsville, the Burdekin region is one of Queensland’s barramundi hotspots. The region is also very rich in history and well known for its sugar cane, cattle and fruit farming and offers plenty of spectacular scenery during your stay. This package specializes in casting and trolling for big barramundi however there are plenty more species on offer. It also offers top class jigging for Golden Snapper, throwing poppers for Queenfish and Tuna and exciting topwater fishing for Mangrove Jack. At the end of each days fishing, you will return to the comfort of your own private lodge. The lodge is air-conditioned and includes all the amenities to make your stay comfortable and relaxing.
How Long Is It For ?
Like all of our packages at Outside Edge Adventures, we tailor it to meet your needs. We offer packages of 2 to 7 nights or a single days fishing depending on availability.
How Many People Can Go ?
We can fish and accomodate 3 guest however 2 is recommended. Each night you will return from fishing to your own private lodge where you will relax with some tasty food and cold beer.
When Does It Operate ?
The best time to fish is usually March-May however fishing is possible all year round. Keep in mind that the Queensland Barramundi season is closed November - February so targeting Barra during those times are prohibited. We will alway communicate with the client on the best tides and times to assure you of a great fishing trip.
What is the Cost ?
