CORAL SEA PACKAGE
Be guided by highly experienced crew and fish some of the most remote coral reef systems of the Outer Great Barrier Reef in comfort on board our 108ft mothership and 38ft game fishing vessel.
We travel up to 200nm out to fishing grounds that offer everything from delicious reef fish, including Red Emperor, Coral Trout and Red Throat Emperor, to iconic sportfish including GTs, Marlin, Mackerel, Yellowfin Tuna, Dogtooth Tuna and Wahoo.
To match the quality of fishing, the food and service on board our mothership is nothing short of superb. Chef cooked meals, table service, a licensed bar and air conditioned, ensuited bunk cabins are all provided to ensure you are well fed and well rested!
Below is some information regarding our outer Great Barrier Reef charters, departing from the easily accessible Airlie Beach, Queensland – the heart of the Great Barrier Reef.
How Long Is It For ?
We have 2 different trip options. A standard trip will be 5 nights and 4 full days fishing and we also have extended trips which will be 7 nights 6 days fishing. Flights into the Proserpine airport generally line up with departure times as we usually jump straight on the boat and travel over night to the destination.
How Many People Can Go ?
The booking is for a minimum of 12 and maximum of 14 people. Both mixed group charters and private charters are welcomed. If you wish to do a private charter with less than 12 people, please contact us for rates.
When Does It Operate ?
The trips run all year round depending on weather. Depending on what you are looking to catch on the trip, the best times and tides will always be communicated. Below is a list of the first release dates for 2020.
What is the Cost ?
5 night and 4 day packages are $3990pp and the 7 night 6 day packages are $5690pp. This price excludes alcohol. There is a licensed bar aboard the mothership and you can fix up your bill at the end of the trip. All the food will be provided and cooked by your own on-board chef. All guests are encouraged to bring all their own fishing equipment however good quality gear can be provided on the charter. If you don’t have your own lures a lure package will be available for purchase .
